Sadly, my sister and her family had to put their beloved Queensland Heeler, Dakota, to sleep today. They found Dakota wandering and lost during a rainstorm, 16 years ago. Dakota was an awesome dog, very protective of his family. He was very lucky to have found such a loving home. Rest in peace, my friend.
Been there, done that. Whoever says animals are not a part of the family, never had animals that are part of the family! So sorry, Terri and family.
