New Years Eve

Tonight I celebrate my first solo New Year's Eve with my sister, Teri and her family in my old neighborhood.

At midnight, my marriage counselor (who also lives in this neighborhood and is attending this party) and I make a toast "to my new beginning!"

Life is weird.

The Christmas Card

This is the Christmas Card picture done in front of our new house under construction.

We do a Christmas Card picture every year.

This is the one that never got sent..........

I would say that applies to me and the new house.

We have named it the
"cottage".

She has 4 bedrooms, hardwood floors
and my favorite....a front porch.

She should be ready in Feb 2007.

Notice she is a female.

A New Beginning

Here I find myself at 49, recently divorced with 3 wonderful children beginning a new chapter in my life.

Today my son Kyle said to me, quite firmly I may add....

"Mom you need to do something for yourself, you are always doing things for everyone else and I am giving you 24 hours to come up with two things you will do just for you.

So guess what I did? I decided to get braces...
